Virtual Resort Campaign

art director

Color Street, a nail strip company, rolled out a new monthly subscription box program that was unique from all other launches. My challenge was to differentiate from the routine launches, so I created each subscription box to be an experience. It contains individual nail shades and items that could be built upon to create countless looks, giving freedom to the customer to be their own nail artist.

Virtual Resort was inspired by the rise in simulated spaces. It’s release in winter allowed me to explore way to celebrate the post-holiday season instead of feeling blue. A cyber getaway is the perfect digital playground allowing the customer to express their creativity and put the focus back on them.

My role as art director and designer:

  • Creative brief: created a concept brief where I provided direction for marketing, design, and studio teams

  • Collection design: designed the collection illustrations and worked with the color development team to color match shades and finishes (creme, shimmer, etc.) of the nail polish

  • Department collaboration: worked with engineering department to develop custom nail dielines

  • Production manager: approved print quality with production team
